Deer Hollow Ranch and Cabin is 8 miles north of Mountainburg, which is the location of the closest grocery store, for your convenience it is suggested that you buy groceries before your arrival. 

From Interstate I-540: North or South bound:

Traveling on I-540 north from I-40 or south from Fayetteville you take Exit #34, Chester exit, turn LEFT onto Highway 282 East, travel about one mile to Scenic Byway 71, turn LEFT again.  Travel noth about 6 miles on Scenic Byway 71, you will pass Artist Point Gift Shop and Cultural Center on the right, just past that is a state roadside park/picnic area on the left, just past the park you will turn LEFT on Schaberg Road (gravel road), you will see our sign at the turn, travel 2/10 of a mile on Schaberg Road, the cabins will be on the LEFT.

There is not an office on the grounds with the cabins, please call when you exit I-540 so one of us can greet you at the cabin. Cell phone service is spotty between the exit and the cabins along Scenic Byway 71.

If you are traveling south on I-540 and using a GPS I strongly suggest you do not take Exit 45, Highway 74 Winslow exit.  The road is very steep and cruvy in places and difficult to drive if you are not familar with the area or it is after dark.
